Nekesa Lorna Patience

Nekesa Patience is a self-employed website and user interface developer specializing in HTML5, CSS, Javacript, Php and content management systems like joomla and wordpress, with a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a Post-graduate Diploma in Education from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda.

She also had the pleasure of working for both ICT and the media. Nekesa is a volunteer for Joomla where she focuses on training fellow women and girls on how to use the CMS.

Nekesa is the founder of Design for Women foundation Africa which focuses on the use of technology and art to develop solutions that help women in Africa and across the world to deal with social, political, health and other problems that affect women.
